TEAM LEADER VACANCY

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young adults with disabilities and autism? Do you have the leadership skills and compassion to guide and support a dedicated team in a supported living setting? If so, we want you to join our team as a Team Leader

At Egalite we are committed to providing exceptional care and support to young adults with disabilities and autism in a warm and welcoming supported living environment. We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to lead a fulfilling and independent life, and our team plays a vital role in making this vision a reality.

As a Team Leader, you will earn up from £14.30 per hour plus enhancements for unsocial hours and be a key figure in our organisation, responsible for:

🤝 The daily running of a small team of carers in partnership with the Registered Manager 👥 Providing leadership and great role modelling. 🧡 Building strong, positive relationships with people we support and their families. 📋 Ensuring that support plans are developed and implemented effectively. 🔧 Overseeing the day-to-day running of the supported living setting including household tasks. 📊 Assisting with staff training, development, and performance evaluations.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

✅ Relevant experience in social care and support. ✅ Strong leadership and organizational skills. ✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. ✅ Empathy and a passion for working with individuals with disabilities and autism. ✅ NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is essential.

SUPPORT WORKER VACANCY

In 2024 we want to help more young people and their families. This spring we will be opening a new small Supported Living service in Worthing. The hourly pay starts from £11.60 per hour and for experienced carers is going up to £12.90 plus enhanced rates for unsocial hours.

The role is incredibly varied and may involve personal care, meal preparation, travel training using public transport or driving the clients to where they need to be. Days out and holidays are also just a part of what may be on offer.

👥You may not have worked as a Carer before but you do have transferable skills, life experiences, hobbies and interests to share.

For both positions

📋A full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for use at work would be preferable but is not essential as we have a small fleet of Fiat 500 cars.

Travel time is paid and mileage is paid at 45p a mile.
